Tatarstan prepares for the republican Iftar

Muslim Religious Administration of the Republic of Tatarstan appeals to volunteers to participate in the IX Republican Iftar, Islam.ru website reports.

The long-awaited evening of breaking the fast will take place on May 7 at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre and will bring together at one table and at one collective prayer honoured guests, representatives of business and needy people: families with many children, poor families, people with disabilities.

 

Uzbekistan delegation visited St. Petersburg

A high-level delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan paid an official visit to St. Petersburg on Monday this week, Islam.ru website reports. Within the framework of the visit the delegation came to the St. Petersburg Cathedral Mosque, where they met with the Mufti, Chairman of Muslim Religious Administration of St. Petersburg and the North-West Region of Russia, Sheikh Ravil-Hazrat Pancheev.

 

Tatarstan Muslims advised how to get vaccinated in Ramadan

Muslim Religious Administration of Tatarstan recommended the believers in the holy month of Ramadan to get vaccinated against COVID-19 after sunset, the republican press and mass communications agency reported on Tuesday, citing the Muftiyat.

This year the international economic summit “Russia - Islamic World: Kazansummit” to be held in a hybrid format - online and offline, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency (AID) head Taliya Minullina said on Tuesday.

In 2020, the Russia - Islamic World: Kazansummit was primarily postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and then canceled at all.

Tatarstan Muslim community hosted the Festival-Contest of Spiritual Heritage Performers

Russian Islamic Institute hosted the final of the Festival-Contest of Performers of Spiritual Heritage Works “Ilahi Mon”. This year the competition was held for the fifth time. The guests and participants of the final of the competition were greeted by the rector of the Russian Islamic Institute, Rafik Mukhametshin. He noted that the festival allows preserving and spreading national, as well as religious traditions, which have deep roots.
