Charitable Fund “Zakat” of Muslim Religious Administration of Tatarstan provides charitable dinners for the homeless and the needy. At the end of 2021, the fund distributed 5,000 servings of hot halal food. In 2020, this figure was almost half as much: philanthropists fed 2,000 hungry people.

Free charitable dinners are organized by the fund in the park on Burkhan Shakhidi in Kazan on Mondays and Fridays. All visitors to charity dinners are representatives of the most needy groups of the population - the homeless, large families, orphans, people with disabilities, low-income lonely pensioners who find themselves in a difficult life situation.
