Sports competitions among mosques were held at the “Olimpiets” stadium in Leninsk-Kuznetsky, Islam.ru reports. Seven teams from the cities of Prokopievsk, Leninsk-Kuznetsky, Kemerovo, Osinniki, Novokuznetsk, Kiselevsk and the village of Verkh-Egos of the Prokopevsky municipal district took part in the Games.

The athletes competed in six kinds of sport: relay race, pull-ups, push-ups, weights lifting, archery, pulling a rope.

In the team standings, following the results of all types of sports and athletics, the places were divided as follows. The first place was taken by the Ramadan team from Prokopyevsk, the second by Muharram from Leninsk-Kuznetsky, the third place went to the Munir team from Kemerovo.

Prize-winners were awarded certificates, and the winners, a team from Prokopyevsk, received a challenge cup and the right to host the Olympics in their city next year. After the solemn rewarding of the participants and guests of the event, a festive table was held at the Muharram mosque, which was organized by activists of the Milash Center for National Tatar Culture.
