Muslim Religious Administration of the Republic of Tatarstan announces the intake of students to the “One Day School”. Visitors of the popular free short-term course will be taught to perform the prayer and the basics of Islam just in 7 lessons.

The first introductory lesson is to be held on February 15 in the office of Muslim Religious Administration of Tatarstan. The students of the “One Day School” are to be taught how to perform ablution and namaz, know the basics of Muslim creed, as well as the life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, what is haram and halal, hajj, virtues and rules of fasting in Ramadan. The project will last till March 28 with a festive Majlis.

The lessons are free for everyone. The project "One Day School" was launched particularly for those who want to become a practicing Muslim, but do not have sufficient free time to attend the full 4 years courses at mosque.

The lessons will be held both in Tatar and in Russian in the Galiev mosque once a week, on Saturdays from 9.00 to 13.00. All the students are to be given the information and books they need for the education. Each participant of the “One Day School” will be presented gifts.
