Mosques and Muslim centers opened in the suburbs of Moscow

Moscow, June 2, 2020

Mosques and Muslim centers in Moscow region are to open today, on Wednesday, after the ban on holding collective prayers due to the spread of coronavirus infection. According to the new rules the believers have to follow the recommendations, when attend mosques for collective Friday prayers, including protective medical masks and gloves, as well as observing physical distancing.

Moreover, people over 65 or with chronic diseases, as well as symptoms of SARS, are strongly advised not to attend mosques and Muslim centers and not to participate in collective worship services.

Now the believers allowed praying only in the open air on the territories of mosques in Noginsk, Staraya Kupavna, Orekhovo-Zuevo, Schelkovo, Solnechnogorsk, Naro-Fominsk, Zvenigorod, Rodniki, Kolomna, Yakhroma, Zaraysk, Domodedovo, Tutchkovo, Shakhovskaya.
