Mufti of the Spiritual Assembly of Muslims of Russia, member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Albir Krganov discussed at a working meeting with the Governor of the Murmansk Region Andrey Chibis a wide range of issues on bilateral cooperation and the development of state-confessional relations in the region.

“We are glad to welcome you to the Murmansk region. Our region is multinational. It is fundamentally important for us that everyone should live in peace and harmony. We pay maximum attention and create the necessary conditions for everyone to feel comfortable and safe. I am ready to discuss pressing issues with you and, for my part, provide all possible assistance,” Andrei Chibis emphasized in his welcoming speech.

According to the regional Ministry of Information Policy, Albir Krganov thanked the Governor for the warm welcome. According to him, fellow believers living in the region note positive changes in the socio-economic sphere, and also highly appreciate the level of organization of state-confessional relations by the regional administration.

Albir Krganov also noted that Muslim countries support Russia in the current economic and political situation.

“As a member of the Russia-Islamic World strategic vision group, I report that there is not a single Muslim country in the list of 48 unfriendly countries. And none of the Muslim countries supported the sanctions against our country,” he concluded.
