Modest fashion show held at KazanSummit 2021

A modest fashion show and panel discussion dedicated to this matter took place today on KazanSummit 2021 in Kazan, website reports. These initiatives appeared to be the expected events of the cultural programme of the Summit.

Modest Fashion Day started with a business programme. Within the framework of two thematic panel sessions, Russian and foreign experts discussed the prospects for modest fashion and as well as the measures to support talented designers. The sessions were attended by representatives of fashion publications Vogue, InStyle, founders of Muslim clothing brands, famous fashion bloggers and others.

Next the participants and guests of the summit attended a show of modest fashion, where 10 talented modest fashion designers presented their collections. The guests of the event could see the summer and other thematic collections of the brands Measure, Guzelem, Sahara, Zuhat, Su.Su, Alsu Gilmi, Eva Graffova and IGORGULYAEV.

The show was also attended by a fashion designer, member of the Parisian Syndicate of Haute Couture and Ready-to-Wear, People’s Artist of Russia Valentin Yudashkin. He told that when creating the collection, he drew inspiration from the national ornaments of Tatarstan, using “oriental accents, reworked in modern trends,” reports Tatar-inform.
