The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)possesses many manifest miracles and signs demonstrating [his veracity], reaching thousands and they are well known.
From amongst them was the Qur'an, the manifest and clear miracle and brilliant proof, falsehood cannot approach it from before it or behind it. It is a revelation from One Who is All-Wise and Praiseworthy. It incapacitated the most eloquent of people in the most eloquent of times to produce a single chapter that would be comparable to it, even if the whole of creation were to gather for that purpose. Allah, the Exalted says,
"Say: If the whole of mankind and the jinn gathered in order to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like of it, even if they assisted each other."[Al-Israa' (17): 88]

Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, feared for his nation from surplus more than he feared from poverty:
“By Allah, it is not poverty about which I fear for you, but I fear in your case that (the worldly) riches may be given to you as were given to those who had gone before you, and that you begin to vie with one another for them as they vied for them, and that they may destroy you as they destroyed them.”(Al-Bukhari).

We know a lot more about Muhammad - the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, since he is the last Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and lived only 1,400 years ago. People altered and distorted all the religions Allah revealed before him. That is why the last book for which people will be held responsible until the Day of Judgment was sent to our Holy Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace: to set right all the errors that had been incorporated in the old religions. Allah communicated what He demands from his slaves through the Qur'an.

The bloodless conquest of Makkah occupies a great moment in the history of Islam. But when the holy Prophet (peace be upon him) heard of war preparedness of Hawazen and Thaqeef, he marched to Taif heading a 12,000 strong force. It was the largest force commanded by him at that time. Initially, Muslims suffered a setback, but with the Prophet’s (pbuh) undaunted courage and strong faith in Allah’s support they defeated the large pagan force at the Battle of Hunain.
