Praise be to Allah, the Lord of Creations, and Peace and blessings be upon our prophet Muhammad, the faithful and the honest.
Oh, Allah, we know nothing but what You teach us. You are the All- Knower, the Wise. Oh Allah, teach us what is good for us, and benefit us from what You taught us, and increase our knowledge. Show us the righteous things as righteous and help us to do them, and show us the bad things as bad and help us to keep away from them.

What is Istikharah?
Istikharah is a du’a made in conjunction with non-obligatory prayer; it is a voluntary prayer that Prophet Mohammad recommended to anybody wanting to do something but feeling hesitant about doing it. It is seeking guidance in order to make the right decision. It is reported that Prophet Muhammad would teach his companions to make Istikharah just as he would teach them verses from the Quran. One should pray two units of non-obligatory (voluntary) prayer and then say the du'a of Istikharah.

Bodily or mental exertion, especially for the sake of training or improvement of health: Walking is a great exercise.
Exercise, without it we are not as healthy as we could be. Without it we are not as productive as we could be. Without it we are not exploiting our mind and body to their fullest potential. Without it we are not fulfilling our religion to its fullest. Without it we are not the Muslims we could be.

(i.e. abstain from all kinds of evil and dirty talk).” [Sahih al-Bukhari, Book #75, Hadith #47]

Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “The stomach is the central basin of the body, and the veins are connected to it. When the stomach is healthy, it passes on its condition to veins, and in turn the veins will circulate the same and when the stomach is putrescence, the veins will absorb such putrescence and issue the same”.

1) What is Islam?
Islam is not a new religion, but the same truth that God revealed through all His prophets to every people. “Islam” simply means peace through submission to God. Islam is both a religion and a complete way of life.
