Seek Forgiveness for the Believing Men and Women

Sayyidi Habib Umar bin Hafiz (may Allah protect him and benefit us by him) marvels at Allah’s command to His Beloved to seek forgiveness for the believing men and women and the Beloved’s request for us to do the same.

Women in Islam Are Like Diamonds

Women in Islam are like diamonds. Allah creates these rules to protect them.

My name is Julia, and my Muslim name is Aysil. I am from Russia and I’m very happy to convert to Islam.

My lifestyle changed after Islam for the best because I started to believe in God; and this belief gave me power. And anything I ask, by time, Allah gives it to me; I’m very thankful, and Inshallah all people will feel the same.

Islam, Culture and Women

by Ruqaiyyah Waris Maqsood /

How can anyone justify Islam's treatment of women, when it imprisons Afghans under blue shuttlecock burqas and makes Pakistani girls marry strangers against their will? How can you respect a religion that forces women into polygamous marriages, mutilates their genitals, forbids them to drive cars and subjects them to the humiliation of "instant" divorce? In fact, none of these practices are Islamic at all.

Reasons Why Female Converts to Islam Have Increased in the West

Over the past few years, more and more Americas have converted to Islam, particularly women and I was curious to find out why.

It appears that women are converting to Islam at such rapid rates that they outnumber men 4 to 1, reports a study on female converts to Islam titled “Women and Conversion to Islam: The American Women’s experience.”
