Esteemed and loved by all Muslims and known as a pious and devout woman, Mary, the mother of Jesus was chosen above all other women. Islam rejects the Christian notion that Jesus is part of a trinity that is God, and denies emphatically that either Jesus or his mother, Mary, are worthy of worship. The Qur’an categorically states that there is no god but God.
Such is God, your Lord! None has the right to be worshipped but He, the Creator of all things. So worship Him …(Al-An`am 6:102)

Slavery is a concept that existed since pre-recorded history. However the way it was practiced in the Islamic world differs greatly than how it was practiced in the rest of the world. Even in the more recent times, centuries after the introduction of Islam, the non-Muslims have practiced slavery in the most barbaric manner. The whole Trans-Atlantic nonsense that was practiced by the Americans is one of the worst forms of slavery man has witnessed. The slaves were not treated as humans and did not have any rights. This way was much similar to the form practiced before the advent of Islam in the Times of Ignorance (Ja’hilah). Islam indeed came as a blessing to all Mankind and it was seen that slaves were given rights, something which the rest of the world never gave them.

In the name of Allah The Beneficient The Merciful
In the collection of Imam Ahmed there is a hadith that Allah SWT mentioned Patience in the Qur’an in 90 places. In an effort to find these ayats (verses) about Patience I looked in the Qur’an and the Qur’anic Indexes for these ayats to help me and the reader to see what Allah (SWT) says about patience and its benifit for us as humans.

Ever felt like you’re having an Iman dip? That after being a very active, productive Muslim – praying on time, reading Qur’an frequently, always looking forward to doing good deeds – you are becoming lazy and that your enthusiasm to perform the same way is fading?

Whoever relies on Allah (has Tawakkul), He is sufficient for him. (At-Talaaq 65:3)
Tawakkul is another attribute that results from a true Iman in Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta`ala. It is an attitude that emanates from the conviction that:
Allah has put me in this world temporarily for a test and all of my good and bad circumstances are part of the test.

Zakah linguistically means increase, meaning there is more barakah in the wealth. Also, it is an increase for the poor recipients. It also means purification because it is a means of purification for one’s wealth.
Zakah is mentioned together with Salah in the Quran about 32 times, and it is the third pillar of Islam. The one who denies Zakah being a pillar of Islam, then by consensus, he is not a Muslim. However, the one who acknowledges Zakah but does not pay it, is a major sinner but still within the fold of Islam according to the majority of scholars, including the 4 madhabs.

The Holy Qur'an is basically a book of guidance, revealed by the Creator to address areas that cannot be answered by the human intellect such as the essence of faith, the acts of worship, the moral code and the rules and regulations that govern the various transactions between human beings.

Upholding family ties is obligatory, as Allah says:
“… fear Allah through Whom you demand your mutual (rights), and (and do not cut of the relations of) the wombs (kinship)…”[al-Nisa’ 4:1]
“And give to the kindred his due and to the poor…”[al-Isra’ 17:26]

Just as the heart may be described in terms of being alive or dead, it may also be regarded as belonging to one of the following 3 types:
The Healthy Heart
On the Day of Resurrection, only those who come to God with a healthy heart will be saved. God says:

At the weekend, Bilal went to visit his grandfather. The two days passed very quickly, and before Bilal knew it his father had arrived to take him home. Asad said goodbye to his grandfather and went to sit in the car. He was looking out of the window as he waited for his father to collect his things. A butterfly sitting on a flower a short distance away fluttered its wings and flew to the car window.
