Number seven in the Quran

Source : Islamweb / 27 Feb 2014

Number seven has been mentioned in the stories which were stated in the Quran. In the story of Prophet Nooh (Noah), may Allaah exalt his mention, he asked his people to contemplate on the Creator of the seven heavens. Allaah says (what means):

"See you not how Allaah has created the seven heavens one above another." [Quran 71:15]

The miraculous nature of the Quran

Source : Islamweb / 25 Feb 2014

The Quran is the eternal miracle of the Prophet, sallAllahu `alayhi wa sallam. It is the Word of Allah which no human anywhere will ever be able to compose something like it at all times and everywhere. Allah challenged the Arabs, who were very eloquent and rhetorically skillful people, to compose something like it, ten chapters or even one chapter. Allah, the Almighty, says (what means):

“Say: "If the mankind and the Jinn were together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another.”  [Quran 17:88]

The Pleasures of Paradise

By M. Abdulsalam / 26 Nov 2013

The reality of Paradise is something which people will never be able to understand until they actually enter it, but God has shown us glimpses of it in the Quran.  He has described it as a place essentially different to the life of this world, both in the very nature and purpose of life, as well as the types of delights which people will enjoy therein. The Quran tells people about Paradise, which God offers to them, describes its great blessings, and proclaims its beauties to everyone. It informs people that Paradise is one of two ways of life prepared for them in the afterworld, and that every good thing will be theirs in Paradise to a degree that surpasses our present ability to imagine.

Why is the Bismillah missing from Surah At-Tawbah?

By Abu Amina Elias / 25 Nov 2013

Why is the phase “In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,” not written at the beginning of Surah At-Tawbah?

Out of Egypt: The Story of Passover in the Quran

By Shahul Hameed / 12 Nov 2013

Many Jews may be surprised to learn that Islam as preached by Muhammad (peace be upon him) was the same religion preached by Abraham, as well as of all other prophets mentioned in the Torah and the Bible.

Muslims honor all the prophets of the Jews – Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David and Solomon among others – as their own prophets.
