Prophet Muhammad

The Prophet's (ﷺ) love for his Ummah : Video

When he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) bled due to his injuries, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would hold on to his blood saying,

“I fear that if a drop of my blood should fall upon the earth, God will envelop them with a punishment.”

He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said“O God guide my people, for verily they do not know”

Feed, greet and pray: The Prophetic peace formula

By Dr. Hazem Said & Maha Ezzeddine / 6 Sep 2013

Abdullah ibn Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: “When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived for the first time in Madinah, I went with everyone to see him. When I saw him, I knew his face was not that of a liar. The first words he said were, “O people, feed the hungry, spread Salam (greeting of peace), maintain your kin relationships, and pray at night while others are asleep. With this, you shall enter Heaven in peace.” (Al-Bukhari)

The Only Living Sahabi : Video

The last Sahabi alive. The last good fellow alive. This is how they call this tree located in the inhospitable desert in northern Jordan.

A caravan going to Syria sat down under its shadow. Muhammad, the future Prophet of Islam (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), was travelling with the caravan. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was as young as nine years old and was accompanying his uncle Abu Talib.

Is Waseela Shirk?

Qur'an states:

Necessity of Loving Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم)

Source : Ahlus-sunna.com / 31 Aug 2013

In these present times, some people due to their misunderstanding consider the immense love for our beloved Prophet (صلىاللهعليهوآلهوسلم)  equivalent to shirk. In spite of the fact that lovers of Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) consider him to be an "Abd (Slave) of Allah" and they have no intentions of comparing the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to Allah azza Wajjal (Naudhobillah), the comparison only comes due to ill thinking of opponents who look for ways just to accuse Muslims of Shirk and Kufr but what they forget is that their false takfir would return back upon themselves  rather than it being applicable on the accused.

Question:

As salamu ‘alaykum respected brothers,

I heard that it was a bid’ah to take one’s ring off while using the restroom when that ring has the name of Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala on it. What is the hukm regarding this matter?

Virtues of fasting during Shawwal

Source : riffat73.wordpress.com / 24 Aug 2013

Shawwal means ‘lift or carry.’ Shawwal is the tenth month on the Lunar Islamic calendar. The first day of Shawwal is Eid Al-Fitr. There are also six days of fasting during Shawwal which, together with the Ramadan fasts, are equivalent to fasting “perpetually.”

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “He who observed the fast of Ramadan and then followed it with six (fasts) of Shawwal. It would be as if he fasted perpetually.” (Muslim)
