The miraculous nature of the Quran

Source : Islamweb / 25 Feb 2014

The Quran is the eternal miracle of the Prophet, sallAllahu `alayhi wa sallam. It is the Word of Allah which no human anywhere will ever be able to compose something like it at all times and everywhere. Allah challenged the Arabs, who were very eloquent and rhetorically skillful people, to compose something like it, ten chapters or even one chapter. Allah, the Almighty, says (what means):

“Say: "If the mankind and the Jinn were together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another.”  [Quran 17:88]

How To Memorise Surah Mulk

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him):

"One of the Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) put up a tent upon a grave without knowing that it was a grave. When he realized that is was a person's grave, he recited Surat Al-Mulk until its completion. Then he went to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) [Indeed] I erected my tent without realizing that it was upon a grave. So when I realized there was a person in it I recited Surat Al-Mulk until its completion.' So the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "It is a prevention, it is a salvation delivering from the punishment of the grave.'"

His counterpart in Greek mythology is Eros, god of love. Cupid is often said to be a mischievous boy who goes around wounding both gods and humans with his arrows, causing them to fall in love.

Everything Allah decrees is good for the believer

By Abu Amina Elias / 1 Feb 2014

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

One of the greatest blessings of faith is the fact that everything Allah decrees for the believer, whether in ease or hardship, will be good for him. If he experiences ease, he remains grateful and is rewarded. If he experiences hardship, he remains patient and is rewarded.

Suhaib (may Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

The Beloved of the Beloved of Allah ﷺ

Someone who claims that he/she loves another will prefer that person to all others, he will also prefer what they like, if it were otherwise then he would be acting and his love would not be sincere.
