When to stop eating: tulu’ al-fajr or later?

Question:

As salamu alaikum. I would like to ask and be sure what I am doing is correct in regards to fasting in Ramadan. Does one need to stop eating before fajr time enters or before sunrise as it can be a large gap from the start or fajr to sunrise. JazakAllah.

The benefits of honey don’t just stop at the satisfaction of our taste buds.  The powerful healing attributes of honey have long been used to promote health and healing.  Both the holy Quran and Hadiths (Prophetic traditions) refer to honey as a healer of disease.  In the Quran we read, “And thy Lord taught the bee to build its cells in hills, on trees and in people’s habitations… there issues from within their bodies a drink of varying colors, wherein is healing for humankind.  Verily in this is a Sign for those who give thought.”  [16:68-69]

 

Reward of taking care of widows and orphans

The Status of Salah

It should be remembered that in Salah, one communicates with one’s Lord, therefore, one should consider how one offers his/her Salah. Allah ta’ala has commanded us to establish the Salah. Establishment means to carry out Salah and all its constituents (including it’s pre-requisite: wudu [ritual ablution]) very carefully. Although the command will apply to the Salah in general, however, one should be extremely particular about the following points:

 

The door of repentance is wide open

It is never too late for a true Muslim to repent to Allah, and to shed tears for the wrong doing he has committed, keeping in mind that if one manages to escape the punishment of mortals, he will not for sure escape the punishment of Allah in the Hereafter. So, it is better to start a new leaf and let bygones be bygones. As long as you are sincere in your repentance, Allah Almighty will accept your repentance and forgive you your sins.
