Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic Calendar. The Islamic calendar, like the solar calendar has twelve months. The islamic calendar is based on the moon (Lunar), while the solar calendar is based on the sun (Solar.)
The solar calendar months are made of 30 or 31 days except for February. The Lunar calendar months are made of 29 or 30 days. Ramadan is sometimes 29 days and sometimes 30 days.

Question:
Did Muhammad declare war against people because they did not embrace Islam?
Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, did not initiate war against anyone who offered to make peace with him. War is a last resort in Islam for the physical defense of the community and it is not a means to force people to enter Islam. Peaceful coexistence among different religions is highly preferred over conflict.

Anyone who looks around modern society will quickly notice the many blessings of technology and scientific advancement. As Muslims we recognize that these are blessings from our beloved Creator who provided us with the means to achieve peace and success.
We also see, as a result of people straying from God and His message, the ugly side of modernity.

It is important to be respectful when entering one of ‘Allah’s houses’. When a person visits a masjid/mosque for the first time, it is often very daunting. You know that there must be many rules, customs and etiquettes, and you don’t want to offend anyone or break any rules, but it takes time to learn what these are. What we present here is not an exhaustive list of such things, but hopefully we can explain some of the main things to be aware of. If there are any mistakes, or if you have anything to add to this guide, please let us know.

“In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day, there are signs for people with intelligence”[Quran 3:190]
INTRODUCTION
Ever since the dawn of mankind, we have sought to understand nature and our place in it. In this quest for our purpose of life many people have turned to religion. Most religions are based on books claimed by their followers to be divinely inspired, without any proof. Islam is different because it is based upon reason and proof.

Every religion has its true believers and its doubters, its pious and its pragmatists, but new evidence suggests that Muslims tend to be more committed to their faith than other believers.
