What is Islam

Why is Salah/Prayer so Important?

By Muhammadrasul Saaduev : Imam of Central Jum`ah Mosque | Makhachkala | 02 Sept 2011

The Man who Broke the Connection with the Creator is Unreliable.

There is a connection between each of us and the Creator. This is the connection that determines our destiny, our success in this world, our well-being, both in this world and in the Eternal one. The break of this connection will bring chaos into society; man will regress, commit crime and pass the limits set by Allah.

What is the connection and how to find it? It is through Salah, prescribed by the Almighty. If this connection is strong, infallible, the slave is always with his Creator. He will do well both in this world and in the Eternal life. And he will be rescued from adversity and misery in this world and from the punishment on the Judgment Day.

The Root of Islam

By Muhammadrasul Saaduev, Imam of Central Jum`ah Mosque | Makhachkala | 09 Sept 2011

We can compare Islam, with which Allah lifted us, with a very strong tree with deep roots, strong trunk, branches and fruit. The root of this tree is “Al-'Ubudiyyah”, being a true slave of Allah, a feeling that overwhelms the heart of a Mu’min (a true believer).

The Fight Against Islam Dates Back to the Beginning of the Prophetic Mission of Muhammad (PBUH).

The Islamic community throughout the world faces challenges, increasing daily and taking various shapes. They can be an economic blockade, an intervention into the ideology of Muslims, and many other problems, which can take very long to discuss.

What is the purpose of this struggle against Islam? It is to take Muslims’ confession from them by weakening the Muslim community, influencing the ideology of Muslims, and separating Muslims from the values of Islam.

Why Is It Useful to Appeal to Allah?

By divine predestination, man comes into this world being weak, and returns as weak to the Almighty, despite the advantages that Allah has given him. The Creator made him the apex of creation and put him in charge of all other creations.

Despite such a great honor, man is still a weak creature. The Almighty intended him so. Allah says in the Qur'an: “Allah intends to make things easy on you. And man has been created weak.” In another Ayah Allah says: “O ye men! It is ye that have need of Allah: but Allah is the One Free of all wants, worthy of all praise.
