“In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day, there are signs for people with intelligence”[Quran 3:190]
INTRODUCTION
Ever since the dawn of mankind, we have sought to understand nature and our place in it. In this quest for our purpose of life many people have turned to religion. Most religions are based on books claimed by their followers to be divinely inspired, without any proof. Islam is different because it is based upon reason and proof.

The abundance of Allah’s rahma or mercy will not come without pure actions. Pure actions, however, when performed, will make you deserving of Allah’s mercy. This, in turn, will enable you to earn the delights of janna and His pleasure.
Seeking Allah’s Mercy
The Qur’an proclaims: {Call on Him with fear and longing. Surely, Allah’s mercy is ever near to the doers of good.} (al-Araf 7: 56)

We are living in the age of computers, laser surgeries, advanced medical treatments, and cloning! In today’s world of constant scientifically groundbreaking discoveries, how can we accept that Allah’s revelation, The Quran, did not reveal this all before? Believing the entire world to be created by God Himself, the Qur’an revealed 1400 years ago contains 1000 verses of scientific knowledge, and none of them contradicting with today’s scientific facts and discoveries.

“Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, [even] after that, throughout the land, were transgressors.”(5:32)

Muslims believe that the Qur'an is Allah's words that were revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) through Angel Gabriel (peace be upon him).
The Qur'an is the word of the Ever-Living Allah. It has been sent down to guide humans for all times to come. No book can be like it. As you come to the Qur'an, Allah speaks to you. To read the Qur'an is to hear Him, to converse with Him, and to walk in His ways. It is the encounter of life with the Life-giver.

A lot has been said about the Mediterranean diet and its health benefits. The common denominator is olive oil, which is a table fixture in the Mediterranean cuisine.
In the Quran:
”And a tree that grows on mount Saini, which provides oil and enjoyment for those who eat it”.
"A blessed Tree, an Olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous.."[surah 24: 35].

{It is He who made the sun a shining radiance and the moon a light, determining phases for it so that you might know the number of years and how to calculate time. Allah did not create all these without a true purpose; He explains His signs to those who understand.
In the succession of night and day, and in what Allah created in the heavens and earth, there truly are signs for those who ward off (evil).} (Yunus 10:5-6)
