Allaah The Exalted commands His slaves to supplicate to Him and promises to answer and reward them for their Du‘aa’. Numerous texts of the Islamic Sharee‘ah have underlined the greatness, virtue, significance, and status of Du‘aa’ in Islam. In fact,Du‘aa’ is the essence of worship, and it is one of the effective ways to prevent the trials or misfortunes that had been decreed to befall the servant before they befall him or to remove them after they have befallen him.

It was narrated that Jabir (RA) said: Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) said, “Whoever says, when he hears the call to prayer (i.e. Adhan):
Allahumma rabba hadhi-hid-dawat it-ta’mmah wa-salat-il-qa’imah aati Muhammadan al-wasilah wa-al-fadilah, wab’athu maqaman mahmuda al-ladhi wa’adthu,

BISMILLĀHIR RAHMĀNIR RAHĪM
Glory to Allāh and Salutations on Rasulullāh Sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam
This Dunyā, with all its glitter and glamour, is a very enticing place. At times we get so carried away by it that we become its slave and forget our Rabb. We start living a life that is totally against the commands of Allāh Ta’ala and the Sunnāh of Rasulullāh (Sall-Allāhu ‘alayhi wasallam).

It is an extremely bold statement for a person to claim that a Hadith on a particular subject does not exist. For a person to substantiate such a claim, he/she must be able to verify that such a narration is not found in any of the 100,000 + Hadiths and thousands of volumes of Hadith literature. There are very few expert scholars in the world today who can conclusively state that a Hadith does not exist based on their extensive knowledge of almost every single Hadith in existence.

It is never too late for a true Muslim to repent to Allah, and to shed tears for the wrong doing he has committed, keeping in mind that if one manages to escape the punishment of mortals, he will not for sure escape the punishment of Allah in the Hereafter. So, it is better to start a new leaf and let bygones be bygones. As long as you are sincere in your repentance, Allah Almighty will accept your repentance and forgive you your sins.

It is recommended to bestow abundant blessings and peace upon the Beloved of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace). It was in this month that Allah revealed:
"Allah and His angels bestow their blessings upon the Prophet. O you who believe bestow blessings and peace upon him in abundance!" [Al-Aḥzāb, 33:56]
